ZeDay on September 21

earth04Stop the Big Burn!

In 2013, for the sixth year running, people are declaring a holiday from fossil fuel energy on September 21. The theme for 2013 is “Potluck your Park.”

ZeDay falls on a Saturday in 2013 and World Car Free Day is on Sunday so everyone *really* can take the weekend off. This promises to be the most amazing Zero Emissions Day ever!

ZeDay Guidelines are simple:

1. Don’t use or burn oil or gasor coal.
2. Minimize (or eliminate) your use of electricity generated by fossil fuels.
3. Don’t put anyone in harm’s way: All essential and emergency services operate normally.
4. Do your best, have fun, enjoy the day!
